When you are ready to begin your journey with Pacific Intercultural Exchange, simply fill out the online pre-application below. Pacific Intercultural Exchange will be in contact with you shortly to give you more information about the program, our students, and to answer any questions you may have.

When your family is ready to host, a time will be scheduled for you to meet a P.I.E. Area Representative in your home. Your area representative can help you select a student that matches your family’s interests, preferences, or activities. Pacific Intercultural Exchange will also secure enrollment for the exchange student to attend your local high school.

Once your family has completed the screening process, you may be in contact with your exchange student even before he/she arrives in the USA! A few weeks before school starts, P.I.E. will notify you of your student’s flight information. Greet him/her at the airport to begin your hosting experience. Remember to attend an orientation to review expectations and to familiarize yourself with P.I.E. program rules.

Pacific Intercultural Exchange is with you all the way. An area representative will contact you and the international student monthly to provide support during the course of the exchange. Hosting is an experience the entire family will remember!
